Dear Families, We hope you have enjoyed you half term and welcome back to pre-school. A warm welcome to our new families joining us this term.

Spring term dates - 2nd half term

Monday 25th February -  31st March for Funded children & 4th April 2019 for OPT IN children and non funded children

The children are welcome to bring something along to preschool of interest linking to letter of the week. Please place this in the basket when you arrive

Don't forget to use Tapestry to let us know your child's new skills and achievements. You can also upload news of what the children have enjoyed in the holidays which they can share at island time.

Activities and celebrations

Friday 1st March - St David's Day

Thursday 7th March - World Book Day -We will celebrate world book day on Thursday 7th Please

feel free to come dressed in your favorite book character or costume any day of this week.

Friday 15th March - Celebrating St Patrick's Day

Week commencing 25th March - Mother's day celebrations - You are invited throughout the week to read a story, carry out a craft or cooking activity

Thursday 28th March - Easter bonnet parade

Wednesday 3rd April - Easter Egg Hunt


A big thank you to the parents and grandparents who have come in to share stories and cooking activities with us! We love having you, the new parental involvement sheet is up on the board, so we hope to welcome you soon!

Please remember to label all clothing coming into preschool.

We are a nut free preschool so please be mindful when making packed lunches, no nut products and this includes any form of chocolate. Please be reminded that must be sliced length ways when included in a child's lunch box

Thank you for your donations towards improving our outdoor area! Contributions of natural products are always welcome and very much appreciated.

We have introduced a floor book, a way in which we encourage children to have a voice in our weekly planning. We will display it in the foyer if parents would like to contribute their ideas too!

Finally, we look forward to welcoming you all back to Pre-School and all the fun and exciting activities we have planned for the half term ahead!
